Daily Conword because I realised nothing's stopping me from doing that

Today's word in my High Entia conlang is ielu, to win. From there we can derive iele (winner), iela (victory), ieleiz (successful) and my personal favourite iele'le, second place winner; it literally means "little winner", so I think this might have a condescending ring to it, perhaps.

I fucking love that, does the language have other common diminutives like that?

'le is generally a diminutive! It shows up in non-condescending cases like "limath" sister and "lima'le" little sister or "lua" word and "lua'le" syllable. In this case, I just found the idea of a "little winner" cute. I might make more condescending diminutives—maybe a "little professional" for someone who's actually not that professional or something?

"Little professional" immediately made me think "apprentice" -- there's probably a way to say "young professional" that comes very close phonetically to sounding like "apprentice", though |'D
